Project narrative

On September 19, 2023, the Chinese Government held the Third China-Africa Symposium on Artemisinin Compound Malaria Control in the Praia Hotel of Sao Tome and Principe. The goal of the symposium was to support efforts to eliminate malaria from African countries by connecting African governments with experts and other countries and international organizations working to combat malaria. The symposium also had a special focus on the Chinese-made compound Artemisinin, which is used in Artequick fumigation to attack malaria-carrying mosquitos.
