Project narrative

From January 10-11, 2023, the 18th Chinese Medical Team to Sao Tome and Principe held a training on minimally invasive laparoscopic technique and sutures at the National Central Hospital (o Hospital Central) of Sao Tome and Principe. The trainings included laparoscopic simulations, wound sutures, vascular anastomose, and intestinal anastomose, among other things, and were intended to improve the capabilities of the National Central Hospital.
