Project narrative

In 2023, the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) signed an agreement with University of Lisbon (Universidade de Lisboa) to provide a grant for the renovation of the Confucius Institute at the University of Lisbon as part of its designation as a "Model Confucius Institute". University of Lisbon will also provide money to fund the project over 10 years. On June 13, 2023, an inauguration ceremony was held to mark the completion of the project.
