Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at VGTU Engineering Lyceum (Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universiteto inžinerijos licėjus) was established in 2015. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing at VGTU Engineering Lyceum with a grant. Liaoning University was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on February 24, 2015. This was the first Confucius Classroom to be opened in Lithuania.
