Project narrative

In November of 2023, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jiangsu Province of China financed and organized a media delegation to visit China with help from the Chinese Embassy in Sao Tome and Principe. The delegation was intended to visit the cities of Nanjing and Suzhou in order to learn more about China and facilitate exchanges of ideas and promote cooperation between the two countries. The media delegation comprised reporters from Sao Tome National Radio, National News Agency, Brothers Radio Network, and Transparency and Tropical News. On November 8, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Sao Tome and Principe hosted a lecture for the recently returned journalists. During the lecture, the Chargé d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy, Hu Bin, spoke on Chinese-style modernization and encouraged the journalists to give people a comprehensive view of China.
