Project narrative

On March 4, 2023, the 37th Chinese Medical Team to Sudan and Shanghai-Sudan Pharmaceutical Company held a free clinic at King Nimer Hospital in the town of Shendi in the northern River Nile State. The clinic was operated by 40 members of the 37th Chinese Medical Team spanning 14 areas of expertise, including surgery and traditional Chinese medicine. The clinic received 1,056 patients in total. The 37th Chinese Medical Team to Sudan was stationed across three Sudanese hospitals between May 2022 and April 2023, and is captured in Record ID#101223.
