Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Riga Cultures Secondary School was established on June 18, 2013. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Riga Cultures Secondary School with a grant. South China Normal University (华南师范大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom began operations on February 28, 2014, and it was officially opened on March 5, 2014.
