Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at University of Daugavpils was established in November 2014. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing University of Daugavpils with a grant. The classroom was under the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia. as captured by Record ID#44185. South China Normal University (华南师范大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on May 2, 2015 and it began operations on October 2, 2015.
