Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Riga 34 Secondary School was established on December 12, 2016. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Riga 34 Secondary School with a grant. South China Normal University (华南师范大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on September 29, 2017. This was the fourth Confucius Classroom to be established in Latvia.
