The Confucius Classroom at Vistula University was established in June 26, 2011. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Vistula University with a grant. The classroom was under the Confucius Institute at Adam Mickiewicz University, as captured by Record ID#44222. Tianjin University of Technology (天津理工大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on May 15, 2012.
