The Klasa Konfucjańska Uniwersytetu Śląskiego (Confucius Classroom at the University of Silesia) was established on February 28, 2019. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Uniwersytet Śląski w Katowicach (University of Silesia in Katowice) with a grant.
