Project narrative

The Aula Confucio della S.S.I “C. Santagata” was established on December 1, 2009. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing S.S.I Carlo Santagata with a grant. Shanghai International Studies University (上海外国语大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom began operations on November 24, 2010.
