Project narrative

The Aula Confucio del Liceo Pimentel Fonseca was established on December 1, 2009. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Liceo Pimentel Fonseca (Liceo Statale “Eleonora Pimentel Fonseca” (Napoli)) with a grant. Shanghai International Studies University (上海外国语大学) and Shanghai Foreign Language School Affiliated to SISU (上海外国语大学附属外国语学校) were the partner Chinese institutions for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom began operations on November 24, 2010.
