The Civico Liceo Linguistico Alessandro Manzoni apre l'Aula Confucio was established in 2015. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Civico Liceo Linguistico Alessandro Manzoni Milano with a grant. Shanghai International Studies University (辽宁师范大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. It was officially opened on June 3, 2015.
