Project narrative

In 2018, the Lanzhou Branch of China Merchants Bank issued an RMB 1.8 billion loan to Tianshui Huatian Technology Co., Ltd. for its acquisition of Malaysian semiconductor company Unisem (M) Berhad (Unisem). Tianshui Huatian Technology Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire 58.94% of the issued share capital of Unisem for a total consideration of MYR 1.407 billion. The acquisition (via offering) was completed on January 7, 2019.
