On January 26, 2022, the Chinese Embassy donated 1000 bags of rice and 300 cartons of canned tuna to the Solomon Islands Government as a part of China's Anti-COVID assistance to the Solomon Islands. The donation was made to support vulnerable households during the pandemic.
