Project narrative

On March 9, 2022, the opening ceremony for the online portion of the Auto Maintenance Program at T.A. Marryshow Community College Confucius Classroom was held. The training course was sponsored by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chinese City of Ningbo in conjunction with Ningbo University of Technology and Ningbo Yingzhou Vocational School. The program included both online and in-person sections, and was intended to help Grenada meet its growing demand for auto maintenance. Then, on July 14, 2023, 12 students and faculty of the Auto Maintenance Program departed Grenada to receive hands-on training at Ningbo University of Technology. Students were trained in skills such as conditional maintenance, oil and transmission replacement, sheet metal work, and electric vehicle repair.
