Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Incheon Shinhyeon High School was established on January 15, 2010. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Incheon Shinhyeon High School (신현고에; 新岘高中) with a grant. Dalian University of Foreign Languages (大连外国语大学) and Tianjin No. 3 High School (天津市第三中学) were the partner Chinese institutions for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on August 3, 2010 and it began operations on July 2, 2010.
