Project narrative

In summer 2013, the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles donated over 2,000 books and other learning materials to the Delmar T. Oviatt Library at California State University, Northridge. The donated materials included textbooks with MP3 players, CDs, and DVDs for language learning and practice, dictionaries, maps; and books on Chinese history, society, education, arts, and culture. The donation was expected to improve learning at CSUN and local schools. A ceremony to recognize the completed donation was held on December 11, 2013.
