Project narrative

On August 25, 2022, Cambodian primary school students received 10,000 packages of stationery, stainless steel water bottles, stainless steel lunch boxes, foodstuffs and other educational supplies from the Chinese government as the start of the "Kit of Love" project. The exact monetary value of the donation is unknown. The project began in August and is set to last three months. The kits were distributed by Cambodia's Civil Society Alliance Forum. The goal of the project is to improve the well-being of students in rural areas of Cambodia and help reduce poverty. The project focused on students from Phnom Penh, Takeo province, Preah Sihanouk province, and Tboung Khmum province. The project began at the Angkomnob Primary School in the Bati district outside Phnom Penh.
