Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Cheonan High School was established on August 31, 2016 after submitting its application on October 16, 2015. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Cheonan High School (천안고에) with a grant. It was under the Confucius Institute at Soon Chun Hyang University, as captured by Record ID#43912. Tianjin Foreign Studies University (天津外国语大学) and Tianjin Foreign Language Schools (天津外国语大学附属外国语学校) were the partner Chinese institutions for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom signed an MoU with and Tianjin Foreign Language Schools on December 12, 2016. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on May 30, 2017.
