The Confucius Classroom at Muan High School was established in 2019. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Muan High School (무안고등학교) with a grant. Qingdao University (青岛大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on February 20, 2019.
