The Confucius Classroom at Seodaejeon High School was established in 2016. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Seodaejeon High School (서대전고등학교) with a grant. The classroom was under the Confucius Institute at Woosong University, as captured by Record ID#43822. Sichuan University (四川大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. On November 15, 2019, Woosong Confucius Institute and Seodaejeon High School Confucius Classroom renewed the contract.
