Project narrative

The Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone on the 6th of September, 2022, held an Awarding Ceremony for the 2022 Chinese Ambassador Scholarship. During this ceremony, over 120 students from primary, junior secondary, and tertiary schools in Sierra Leone were awarded grants. 20 college students and 108 primary and secondary school students will benefit from the initiative in 2022. The scholarship ceremony took place at the Bintumani Hotel Conference Hall in Aberdeen, Freetown, Sierra Leone. In attendance at the ceremony were Ministers of Basic and Technical Education as well as parents. The monetary value of the scholarships is unknown.
