On March 26, 2020, the New York Branch of China Merchants Bank contacted The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York, following a large influx of coronavirus patients. Later that day, they donated 5,300 surgical face masks to the hospital. The donation was worth approximately $3,710 USD.
