Project narrative

On May 30, 2019, the Chinese Government donated and delivered a six-and-a-half-ton Taihu rock from the city of Wuxi to the San Antonio Museum of Art. The rock was unveiled in a ceremony attended by a delegation from the Wuxi government, San Antonio officials, and the Chinese Consulate in Houston.
