Project narrative

On April 17, 2020, the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development announced that nearly 40,000 protective masks with an approximate value of $275,000 USD had arrived in Utah. The masks were donated by municipal and education officials in Shanghai, China. The donated masks were used by school districts around Utah for workers to serve school lunches with proper protection. Masks were also delivered to Odyssey House of Utah, a drug treatment and recovery center in Salt Lake City, Utah, and to subsidiaries of the Utah healthcare system.
