Project narrative

On May 18, 2023, a handover ceremony was held for the donation of epidemic prevention materials worth XCD 40,000 from the China-Caribbean Development Center to the Antigua and Barbuda Ministry of Health, Wellness, and the Environment. The materials included 50,000 masks and 1,000 sets of protective clothing. The ceremony was attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda Zhang Yanling and the Antiguan and Barbudan Minister of Health, Wellness, and the Environment Molwyn Joseph, who both signed a handover certificate for the donation.
