Project narrative

Between June 17, 2022, and June 30, 2022,, a training course funded by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce on the prevention and control of infectious diseases was provided to students from Portuguese-speaking countries such as Brazil, Angola, and Cabo Verde. The seminar included professional knowledge in the field of medical and health care, new concepts of daily health management, information about high-tech medical equipment and cutting-edge technology, and provided valuable experience for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases in their country. The course took place in both an in-person and online modality. The monetary value of the training course is unknown. The primary organizer of the seminar was the Hunan Foreign Trade Vocational College, and the co-organizer was the Hunan University of Chinese Medicine's Affiliated Hospital. Additionally, representatives from the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce attended the closing ceremony, indicating the organization may also have played an role in implementing the training course. Lastly, the Rio Chinese Friendship Association in Brazil provided a centralized teaching venue for the course.
