On April 14, 2020, the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco, California, donated 175 protective clothes, 1,600 N95 masks, and 3,000 medical masks to San Mateo County. The Consulate General implemented the donation at a handover ceremony in Redwood City, the San Mateo County seat.
