Project narrative

On July 19, 2014, the Chinese Embassy in Seychelles donated a new playground to the community of Ile Perseverance. During the handover ceremony District Administrator Denise Clarisse and Chinese Ambassador to Seychelles Shi Zhongjun signed a document sealing the acceptance of the playground. Figures also present at the ceremony were Minister for Labor and Human Resource Development, Idith Alexander and Minster for Social Affairs, Community Development, and Sports, Vincent Meriton. The Ile Perseverance playground project is one of several district playgrounds that have been funded by the Chinese Embassy.
