Project narrative

On Nov 17, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Liberia donated medical and daily necessities to Jackson F. Doe (JFD) Memorial Hospital in Liberia. Representatives of JFD Hospital and the 16th Chinese medical team attended the donation ceremony, along with Ambassador Yin Chengwu. The specific materials donated and the value of the donation was not specified. Officially opening in February 2011, The JFD Memorial Hospital was financed by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and constructed by China Henan International Corporation (see Record ID #1673).
