Project narrative

In December 2021, China Geo-Engineering Corporation began implementing a pilot project which involved the construction of energy-saving sanitary water systems that meet the standards of the World Health Organization for two Liberian schools. The new water facilities were dedicated on April 21, 2023, and included drinking fountains with a built-in filtration device, toilet, solar-powered pumping mechanism, photovoltaic energy system, and lighting. The two schools in which the pilot project was implemented were June L. Moore Public School and Sarah Barclay Public School, which are both located in Montserrado County, Liberia.
