Project narrative

On March 4, 2020, the city of Shanghai donated 21,200 N95 and KN95 masks to its sister city, Chicago for Covid-19 Aid. As of 2020 Shanghai and Chicago have held a sister city status for 35 years. The donation was distributed to Advocate Aurora Health, Loyola Medicine, Northwestern Medicine and University of Chicago Medicine, with each hospital receiving 11 cartons total; 10 cartons containing 5000 of the KN95 masks, and 1 carton containing 300 of the N95 masks.
