On August 12, 2020 the Changsha Municipal Government donated 40,000 KN95 masks to sister city, Annapolis Maryland for Covid-19 Aid. The mask donation was originally offered in April but was received in the month of August and first reported by the mayor on the 12th. AidData estimates the value of the transaction at $72,000 USD.
