Project narrative

On October 27, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Madagascar hosted the 2023 Chinese Ambassador Scholarship Award Ceremony for the Confucius Institute at the University of Toamasina. 105 teachers and students received scholarships. According to the Chinese Embassy, the awards given were the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship Inspirational Award (中国大使奖学金”励志奖), Chinese Envoy Award (汉语使者奖), and the Toamasina China-Madagascar Friendship School award (塔马塔夫中马友谊学校“中国大使奖学金).
