Project narrative

On July 21, 2023, Ambassador to Samoa Chao Xiaoliang awarded China Ambassador Scholarship to students at National University of Samoa for the year 2023–2024. The number of students to receive the scholarships is unknown, but each scholarship is worth WST 2000. On August 15, 2023, Ambassador Chao attended the International Student Farewell Party for the awardees of the scholarships. The goal of the scholarships is to promote cooperation between Samoa and China in the field of education and to promote mutual trust and friendship.
