Project narrative

On February 27, 2023, the Ordre des Journalistes de Madagascar (OJM) announced that the Chinese Embassy in Madagascar had donated computer equipment to their headquarters in Ambohidahy. According to the OJM website, the donation consisted of three desktops and their accessories, three inverters, and two laptops. The computers are equipped with applications for audio and video editing. The monetary value is unknown. This donation came after a meeting between the Chinese ambassador, Guo Xiaomei, and the president of the OJM, Monica Rasoloarison. According to the OJM, this is part of their project of setting up a press center at their headquarters in Ambohidahy.
