Project narrative

On May 7, 2020, the Shenzen City government held a press conference in which they announced an initiative to donate 1.5 million masks to "friendly" and sister cities and institutions. Of the 1.5 million masks the City of Poznan, a sister city of Shenzhen for 30 years (as of 2020), received 20,000 masks. AidData estimates the value of the transaction at $14,000.00 USD.
