Full Description

Project narrative

On July 7 and 8, 2023, 5 refugee sites received nearly 800 tons of rice donations provided by China to the Food Security Commission. This donation is made through the National Food Insecurity Response Plan 2023 and its mission is to provide one-off assistance to vulnerable populations such as internally displaced persons, orphanages, widows' associations, people with disabilities and families in precarious situations living in the District of Bamako and its surroundings. On July 8, 2023, the Niamana Internally Displaced Persons Site and the Jigiya Bon Center received 5 tons of rice, and the Mabilé Center received 25 tons of rice.
