Project narrative

On September 16, 2022, the Chinese Embassy awarded the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship to 140 Ghanaian students during a ceremony at the University of Cape Coast. The cumulative value of the scholarships was USD 11,000. The recipients were chosen from 8 different schools under the University of Cape Coast's Confucius Institute based on their final scores in Chinese language courses. Recipients of the scholarship were drawn from the University Basic School, Creative Academy International, Penuel International School, West End International School, University Practice Senior High School, Tarkoradi Technical University, the University of Mines and Technology (UMAT), and the University of Cape Coast.
