Full Description

Project narrative

As part of the “China-Africa Hand in Hand to Warm Children’s Hearts” initiative, the 19th Chinese Medical Aid Team to Senegal provided free medical consultations and treatments to children at the Daaray Serigne Saliou Mbacke orphanage in Keur Ndiaye Lo on May 31, 2023. This one-day clinic coincided with a donation event organized by the Chinese Embassy and aimed to deliver pediatric care and health education. The medical assistance was conducted in partnership with the Senegalese Service Foundation and supported by the Organization of African First Ladies for Development. This activity represents a development-oriented technical assistance effort within China’s long-standing medical diplomacy program in Africa.
