Project narrative

On June 1, 2023, the Chinese Ambassador to Eritrea Cai Ge presented a batch of "love packages" at the "China-Africa Hand in Hand to Warm Children's Hearts" activity held by the Chinese Embassy in Eritrea and the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare of Eritrea to care for the health of Eritrean orphans. The 16th medical aid team from China also conducted free health examinations for the children at the orphanage. The "China-Africa Hand in Hand Warm Children's Hearts" activity was started by Professor Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and the African First Ladies' Development Association to care for the health of African orphans. The activity holds great significance and represents the profound friendship between China and Africa (Linked to Record ID#103343).
