Project narrative

On April 12, 2023, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce donated medical supplies to the Diamniadio Children's Hospital. The supplies included cataract artificial lenses, rechargeable electric equipment (drills, saws, etc.), Plasmodium falciparum (malaria) detection reagents, ophthalmoscope lens boxes, ear endoscopes, anesthesia pharyngoscopes (for newborns), ECG monitors, early pregnancy (HCG) test strips, and commonly used medicines. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the 19th Chinese Medical Aid Team to Senegal, who have been performing medical treatment at the hospital.
