Project narrative

On March 30, 2023, the China-Caribbean Development Center held a handover ceremony of donated medical supplies at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados. Among the supplies donated 50,000 medical masks and 1000 sets of protective clothing. The donation is worth roughly USD 30,000. The donation was given in progress towards fulfilling the goals of the Third Ministerial Meeting of the China-Latin America Forum, which prompted the foundation of the China-Caribbean Development Center in July 2022.
