Project narrative

In June 2023, the governments of China and Barbados agreed to send a sixth Chinese Medical Team to Barbados later that year. On September 10, 2023, the Sixth Chinese Medical Team arrived in Barbados. The team consisted of eight specialists. The team will provide additional medical aid to help support Barbados's healthcare system. The motto or "spirit" of the Chinese Medical Team translates to "defying hardships, dedication, saving lives and healing the wounded, and boundless love." The CMT will also develop connections and people-to-people exchanges with local staff and patients.
