In Spring 2020, the city of Fuzhou, China donated epidemic prevention materials to Glasgow, UK. It is unclear how much of the total stated commitment that Glasgow received.

Staff comments

1. The city of Fuzhou does not specify the date of commitment and implementation of the donation. AidData estimates the earliest possible date in the confines of the source (April 1, 2020). 2. The city of Fuzhou does not specify how much epidemic preventative equipment Glasgow received out of the stated pool of donated resources. AidData estimates that Glasgow received 1/15th of the reported materials. 3. The estimated transaction amount was determined using AidData's COVID Transaction Estimator. 3,333 masks * $0.7 USD per mask + 39,333 masks * $0.7 USD per mask + 46 protective clothes * $0.8 USD + 133 pairs of goggles * $13 USD per goggles + 5,333 pairs of gloves * $0.4 USD per pair = $33765.20 USD
