In March 2020, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Macau) Limited (ICBC (Macau)) donated 80,000 surgical masks to the University of Lisbon School of Medicine. According to the receiving party, the donation was worth RMB 192,000. ICBC Macau has had representation in Lisbon since 2006 and has since become an affiliate of the School of Medicine. ICBC Macau's donation was made in support of the University of Lisbon's "Help the Cause" campaign.
