Project narrative

On May 7, 2020, the Shenzhen Municipal Government held a press conference announcing that the city, with coordination from the Shenzhen International Exchange and Cooperation Foundation, had donated a total of 1,500,000 masks to 36 friendly cities and institutions in 24 countries, Portugal among them. The exact number of masks Portugal received is unknown.
