On November 9, 2023, Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine donated 1.07 million Namibian dollars of medical equipment to Walvis Bay Hospital, in the port town of Walvis Bay, Namibia. This project is implemented as part of a paired hospital cooperation between Namibia and China to improve the provision of high-quality healthcare services in the African nation. The donation includes essential medical equipment like ventilators, patient monitors, defibrillation monitors, baby incubators, portable suctions, a telemedicine collaboration platform, a cloud imaging system, and various cutting-edge ICT equipment.
